The board of directors of Stefnir is committed to good corporate governance and endeavours to promote responsible behaviour and corporate culture within Stefnir for the benefit of all the company’s stakeholders.

The Center for Corporate Governance at the University of Iceland confirmed in January 2012 that Stefnir was a model company in terms of good corporate governance and Stefnir has been recognized in this way every year since.
